This is a completely free public German shepherd avatar to use however you please. This includes profiting from recolors, alterations, etc...
All I ask is that you please do not remove the signature in the avatars chest.

The model is my very first one to create, so please excuse any bugs or issues that you might encounter. I am just a hobbyist and by no means an expert at anything I used to make the model. Having said that though, I did some extensive testing and didn't find anything obvious other than a few issues that I will mention below.

---FEATURES---

VRCSDK 3.0 compatible

--- I have NOT included the VRChat Avatar SDK 3.0 into the unity package, so you will have to create a new Unity project and import it into the asset folder before importing the model's package. Do not import this into an existing Unity project that has VRC Avatar SDK 2.0 because it will likely not work.
Having said that, this was my first ever avatar to upload with the new 3.0 SDK, so I'm still learning how to do things, so it might not be the most optimized setup, but it works.


Eye movement and expressions

--- With the new VRC SDK 3.0, I was able to easily add eye movement, blinking, and 4 facial expressions.
Fist - Angry
Thumbs up - Happy
RockNRoll - Sad
Peace (Victory) - Derp 


Dynamic bones

For the hair, ears, and tail
--- Please purchase the dynamic bones Unity package and import it into the asset folder before importing the model's package. Tail animator
Yes the tail wags automatically!

PoiyomiToon and Xiexes toon shader

PoiToonShader5.6.8 and Xiexes 2.2.1 shader package is included in the unity package, so don't import this into a project that already has either of these. It's best to just start a new Unity project.


Mirror capable UV

I set the body mesh UV up so that you can mirror the texture file. This means that you only have to paint 1 side of the model, export the textures, then mirror it in a program like Photoshop.
--- NOTE: This is only for the "body" mesh and not the "bits" (Bits are things like teeth, claws, pawpads, etc...) 


---ISSUES\BUGS---


In Unity, I couldn't figure out how to rotate the default idle pose 180 degrees without it also rotating the model. Any time you go into play mode, it flips the avatar 180 degrees on the Z axis. This isn't an issue, but it does make the camera position off if you place it where it would normally go in the VRC avatar descriptor (on the bridge between the eyes). So even though VRC avatar descriptor camera position looks wrong, don't move it or you will have some weird neck issues. I tested the position in the game, and it's where it needs to be.

I messed up and reversed the arms and legs on the UV map, IE the right arm and leg is where the left one should be and vice versa. Just know this when you're recoloring.


CONCLUSION

I'm so happy and excited to finally have this finished. It has been quite the undertaking, so I hope you all enjoy the effort I put into this. I do plan on making a male version and will put on here as well, so if you want to find out when I do, follow me on Twitter.
